As we approach the end of the calendar year, I take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God. This year has brought its share of challenges, yet we have seen God’s sustaining hand and continue to be blessed by Him.
Our two little helpers, Leo and Bene, remain engaged and active with us, assisting with many chores on the farm. We were able to plant and mulch maize, soybeans, tomatoes, onions, cabbages, and eggplants. We have already harvested tomatoes and eggplants and sold them at a local market.
Unfortunately, we had to harvest the onions during heavy rains, which caused them to rot, and the cabbages also had to be uprooted. We are praying that the maize and soybeans will remain healthy.
All farmers face these challenges, and we recognize that our attitude speaks to the locals just as much as our demonstration plots. We trust that God inspires them to take a greater interest in working their land.
We are continuing to navigate the legal processes to complete the registration of our Stewardship Center and set up a bank account.
I had a meeting with the village chief and his son, where we discussed strategies to support the community's growth, be it in farming, financial management, or Christian character development.
As we prepare for the upcoming training session and plan for the next calendar year, we ask that you keep us in your prayers.
Greetings and God bless and keep you!
